Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern currently enrolled in an engineering degree program. The role offers design support, field observations, and BIM documentation using AutoCAD and Revit, under the guidance of senior engineers and the project management team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited US college or university.
• Interest in working in the MEP field and gaining hands-on experience in design and field observations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Precon tasks and takeoffs, estimate reviews, and site walkthroughs.
• Support PMs with submittals, RFIs, and meeting coordination.
• Contribute to field visits, QA/QC, and safety reviews.
• Produce documentation in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Compile closeout documents and present results at assignment end.
