Job summary

CoreKinect is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Chandler, Arizona, to help enhance assembly processes through the design of fixtures and guides. You will work directly with our manufacturing team, gaining real-world experience in engineering and production workflows.

This on-site role involves hands-on collaboration to turn designs into functional prototypes and supporting ongoing manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with parametric design software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and build fixtures and guides for assembly.
• Produce dimensioned engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Prototype and test designs using 3D printing.

Skills

Parametric design software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks)

Familiarity with fasteners and assembly hardware

3D-printing workflows and slicer software

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Strong communication skills

Education

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
