Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a Mechanical Intern to support engineering staff on assigned projects and begin mastering discipline policies and procedures.

The role includes participating in technical studies, investigations and designs under supervision, and assisting the project team in producing project deliverables. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to learn design basics, be capable of working at construction sites to inspect contractor work, and lift plans up to 30

• Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program.
• Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors.
• Manipulates plans periodically. Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds.
