Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years postsecondary education in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Strong mechanical, geometric, numerical and statistical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret geometric drawings, schematics and block diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Instron equipment and Bluehill Universal software is a plus.
• Experience with MeasureMind or other measurement equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measurements and testing of connectors and components for mechanical performance and reliability.
• Conduct low-level resistance measurements using a 4-Wire Meter.
• Obtain force measurements using equipment including Instrons.
• Record, store and process data in Excel to create graphs and reports with PowerPoint.
• Maintain accurate records of all work and experiments performed.
• Interact with Manufacturing and Engineering as needed.
