Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer (Stress and Dynamics) to analyze designs and ensure robustness, applying Robust Engineering principles. The role is hybrid with roughly three onsite days per week and relocation is available.

You will collaborate across disciplines, perform stress and fatigue analyses, and contribute to product integrity while supporting in‑service operations and technical reviews. This position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience; OR;
• Masters degree in Engineering; OR,
• JD/PhD

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical assessments (stress, lifing and/or aeromechanical) to support new design concepts, evaluate production variance, and maintain support to in‑service operations.
• Facilitating teamwork between many disciplines (i.e. - manufacturing, quality, engineering, product support, etc.).
• Communicating technical and business results via reports and presentations to senior engineers both within and external to Rolls‑Royce.
• Supporting non‑conforming hardware dispositions (MRB) and other production support needs.
• Participating in technical reviews, Product Safety Review, Technical Life Review and customer reviews.
• Accountability for the technical quality of the work package deliverables.
