Job summary

Ambs Chemical Search LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical equipment health and integrity at a chemical plant. The role reports to the Site Manager and focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing vessels, piping, relief devices; overseeing the fire protection program and SIS; coordinating MOC and PHA; performing RCFA; providing training; and initiating projects to strengthen mechanical integrity.

Qualifications

Mechanical integrity and process safety know-how.
Experience with vessels, piping, relief devices, and CUI programs (where applicable).
Knowledge of RCFA and risk assessment techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair mechanical equipment (vessels, piping, relief devices) and manage CUI program.
Oversee plant fire protection program and test/maintain SIS.
Coordinate MOC and process hazards analysis (PHAs).
Direct risk assessment techniques.
Lead or participate in plant incident investigations and RCFA.
Provide training to plant personnel on mechanical integrity and process safety.
Initiate and manage projects related to mechanical integrity.
