Job summary

Dematic is seeking Mechanical Installers to join a growing team. You will travel up to 90% to customer sites across the USA to install and maintain storage and retrieval cranes and conveyors. A strong emphasis on safety and high-quality workmanship is required.

Minimum 2-5 years of related experience and a valid driver's license are required; technical training is preferred. This role offers broad exposure to diverse customer projects and locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining Storage and Retrieval Cranes, conveyor, or other automated equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required.
• Experience installing or maintaining conveyor systems and related components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others on site.
• Complete assigned mechanical tasks within allotted time and high quality as directed by site supervision.
• Take direction from site supervisor or foreman and provide support to them.
• Travel 90% to customer sites within the USA.
• Lift at least 50 lbs; maneuver on large construction sites in varying climates.
• Learn and adapt to site requirements and safety protocols.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $22.89 - $30.96 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; Technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining Storage and Retrieval Cranes, conveyor, or other automated equipment
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment
