Position Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a Precision Mechanical Inspector to join our teams in Nashua and Hudson, NH. The role involves learning to use various measuring tools such as CMMS, Vision Machines, and Optical Comparators to perform daily inspection tasks.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School diploma, GED, or Trade School education
• At least 1 year of related experience, preferably in mechanical inspection or machining
• Knowledge of and ability to inspect using GD&T
• Familiarity with inspection equipment including CMMs, height gauges, optical CMMs, and optical comparators
• Ability to review and verify documentation against drawings and purchase order specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical inspection and drawing interpretation per ANSI Y14.5
• PWB inspection experience
• Active IPC 600, 610, 620 certifications
• Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Experience with CMMs, height gauges, and optical CMMs

Pay Range

Full-Time Salary Range: $46,680 - $74,687
