BAE Systems is seeking a Precision Mechanical Inspector to join our teams in Nashua and Hudson, NH. The role involves learning to operate various measuring tools such as CMMS, Vision Machines, and Optical Comparators to perform daily inspection tasks.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School / GED or Trade School education
  • At least 1 year of related experience, preferably in mechanical inspection or machining
  • Knowledge of and ability to inspect using GD&T
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment (CMMs, height gauges, optical CMMs, optical comparators)
  • Ability to review and verify documentation against drawings and purchase order specifications

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Strong background in mechanical inspection and drawing interpretation per ANSI Y14.5
  • Experience with PWB inspection
  • Certification in IPC 600, 610, 620
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to operate CMMs, height gauges, and optical CMMs

Pay Range

Full-Time Salary Range: $46,680 - $74,687. Salaries are determined based on market conditions, qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
