Our client is seeking a detail-oriented quality professional to support inspection activities in a high-volume, precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections while ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on setting and possesses strong measurement and documentation skills.
Perform first article inspections and accurately document inspection results.
Conduct daily in-process quality inspections using established sampling procedures.
Complete final inspections to verify product conformance prior to shipment.
Measure components against engineering drawings and specifications using precision measuring equipment.
Identify, document, and communicate quality discrepancies to production personnel and quality leadership.
Inspect and screen parts under magnification as required.
Maintain accurate manual and electronic quality records.
Ensure inspection equipment and measurement tools remain properly maintained and calibrated.
1–5 years of quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, indicators, gauges, and related inspection tools.
Experience establishing accurate and repeatable measurement methods.
Ability to operate measuring microscopes and optical comparators.
Experience with CMMs and vision measurement systems preferred; training may be available.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production and quality teams.
Ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
