W J Bachman Mechanical Sheetmetal Co. of FL Inc. is seeking a Mechanical & HVAC Foreman to lead field crews on large commercial projects in Tampa, FL. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating installations, safety, and project timelines while collaborating with engineers and other trades.

The foreman will read blueprints, manage budgets, and mentor crew members to ensure on-time, high-quality results on demanding schedules.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years HVAC field experience with 3–5 years in a foreman role.
• MEWP, forklift, and fall protection certifications required or provided.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation crews on commercial projects per plans and safety protocols.
• Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
• Read blueprints and building codes to guide work.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA practices.
• Complete local inspections for energy efficiency compliance.
• Train and evaluate crew members; maintain jobsite records.
