RQ Construction is quickly becoming one of the leading players in the commercial and government industry on the East Coast. We are currently seeking Mechanical General Laborer candidates to join our team in Charleston, SC.

As a Mechanical General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing tasks that involve physical labor using hand and power tools of all types, with prior carpentry skills preferred. You may also assist other craft workers, clean and prepare sites, remove rubble and debris, and operate power construction equipment, all while following safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

We believe in employee growth and development, offering on-the-job training and certifications as needed for safety and equipment operation. Prevailing wages will be paid for work performed on military installations.

Pay: $18.00 - 25.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Two or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction; government, military, or large commercial experience preferred.
• Certifications such as Forklift/Manlift, Fall protection, Scissor lift/boom lift, OSHA 10/30, Trenching and Shoring, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout are preferred.
