Job summary

PC Construction seeks a Mechanical Foreman to lead a multi-discipline crew on self-perform projects. You will supervise installation of piping systems, equipment and rigging, drawing interpretation, material take-offs, and scheduling with subs as needed.

Candidates should have at least three years as a mechanical foreman and six years overall experience in piping installation, including large-diameter above/underground flanged and ductile iron piping, plus wastewater plant equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a mechanical foreman.
• Six years total experience in piping installations.
• Experience with large-diameter above/underground flanged and ductile iron piping.
• Experience with wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Willingness to assist with ancillary metalwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew.
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials.
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew daily, weekly, and monthly, including subcontractor coordination.
• Work with tools when needed, and mentor others to do so.
• Travel to jobsites as required.

Job description

PC is seeking a Mechanical Foreman responsible for managing and working with multiple crew members on self-perform projects, and with a range of trade disciplines: Three years experience as a mechanical foreman. Six years overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems and site utility piping. Experience working with large diameter above/ underground flanged and ductile iron piping systems. Experience with installation of process equipment for a Wastewater Treatment Plant. Expertise with rigging of piping and equipment. Willingness to assist with ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew.
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials.
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to include integrating subcontractor work as needed.
• Work with tools when needed, and teach/mentor others to do so.
• Travel to jobsites as required.
