Vertiv Corporation in Pelzer, South Carolina is seeking a Mechanical Fitter responsible for safely preparing and assembling mechanical components from intake to shipment. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes within a manufacturing setting.

You will work with team members to address production challenges, document corrective actions, and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Team-oriented with ability to follow safety procedures.
• Experience using hand tools and operating forklifts.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble components.
• Use torque wrenches and hand tools to assemble parts.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials.
• Maintain production records and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets.
• Perform basic maintenance and assist engineering or electrical teams.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
