Job summary

HNTB is seeking current or recent interns to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports, plans and specifications for assigned projects in our Oakland, CA office. You will work with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and engineering tools.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and offers exposure to a range of infrastructure projects; visa sponsorship is not available; pay range is posted for the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
