Job summary

Brady Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Mechanical Contracting Field Superintendent to lead a team of field technicians, driving performance, training, growth, and process improvement.

You will coordinate with project managers on start dates and manpower, supervise field staff, assist with onboarding, and provide regular coaching to ensure performance meets expectations. Expect weekly onsite visits and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling/dispatching.
• 2 years of customer service experience required; HVAC industry experience is a plus.
• Frequent use of computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft products to manage business processes and tasks.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Ability to prove US employment eligibility.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises field employees in the Mechanical Contracting Department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
• Interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
• Coordinating with PM on start dates and manpower needs; serves as liaison between field and office.
• Onboarding new technicians; providing regular feedback and coaching; hiring based on workload.
• Review and approve field Associates’ weekly time and expenses; weekly onsite visits.
• Maintain schedule board; represent team at quarterly meetings; conduct annual performance reviews.
• Forecast staffing needs; ensure compliance with laws and company values; flexible to overtime/weekends; regular travel.
