Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer for the Thacker Pass, NV project. The role provides technical directions to direct hire and subcontractor teams, supervising mechanical activities across the assigned area on a large mine EPCM program.

The candidate will coordinate schedules, prepare installation work packages, inspect field work, and interface with engineering to resolve constructability issues while ensuring environmental and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• University/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• Experience with field mechanical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervision the work schedule and material deliveries.
• Prepare field installation work packages.
• Inspect field installations and complete documentation.
• Interface with engineering to resolve design/constructability issues.
• Assist superintendents and subcontractors with constructability/quality issues.
• Prepare material requisitions and review vendor drawings.
• Work with procurement expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
