This essential role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility systems at DynaTen. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting with all maintenance needs of the entire building.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, welding, prefabrication, and facility equipmentInspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery including saws, presses, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, material handling systems, and other shop equipmentMaintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems supporting fabrication, warehouse, and office operationsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including lighting, ice machines, kitchen equipment, and other building systemsConduct scheduled inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operationCoordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for parts procurement, repairs, and maintenance supportMaintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedulesAssist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and facility modificationsCollaborate with shop supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiencyIdentify equipment reliability concerns and recommend maintenance or process improvementsSupport facility upkeep and routine maintenance activitiesMaintain facility equipment and infrastructure in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support business objectivesRespond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established maintenance proceduresPromote and maintain a safe work environment through adherence to company safety standardsMaintain strong working relationships with production teams, supervisors, vendors, and service providersSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance, facility operations, and maintenance effectivenessDemonstrate accountability, organization, and follow-through on all assigned maintenance activitiesRepresent DynaTen in a professional and positive mannerMaintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude while supporting operational needsRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or facility maintenance experience requiredStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsBasic knowledge of HVAC systems and facility maintenance practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentationStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipmentKnowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirementsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departmentsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyBasic mathematical, reading, and English language skills requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing priorities and workload.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required;
