Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Mechanic Express Specialist to perform a variety of repairs ensuring the fleet meets high standards. You will use U-Haul's proprietary tools to diagnose and service field vehicles, with strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Mechanic Primary Responsibilities:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.
