• 5+ years as an estimator on projects >$1M (mechanical) or exceptional career history.
• Solid track record on commercial piping projects.
• Ability to create conceptual bids for Design/Build projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish timelines and budgets.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Proven career stability and estimating success.
• Solid computer skills.
• Four-year degree in a construction-related field.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the project specifications.
• Development of master budgets and cost models for Piping, Plumbing, HVAC projects.
• Provide conceptual estimates of projects.
• Provide hard bid estimates from takeoff to final bid value.
• Develop and maintain cost databases.
• Review and comment on estimates provided by others.
• Provide independent estimates of change orders.
• Develop pre-construction cost estimates.
