Qualifications

• Experience with take-off procedures, proposals, and cost management.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and regulatory standards.
• Excellent numerical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mechanical construction cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related costs.
• Prepare and submit competitive project proposals and bids on time.
• Utilize take-off procedures to determine quantities and costs of materials.
• Develop comprehensive project budgets and forecasts, and monitor costs to stay within budget.
• Conduct cost analysis and track project performance, reporting variances.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand requirements and provide accurate estimates.
• Review architectural plans to identify cost-saving opportunities and challenges.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure accuracy.
