Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to lead the preparation of comprehensive proposals for HVAC, piping, and plumbing across diverse markets. The role reports to the Estimating Leadership Team and requires strong takeoff and cost-estimation skills supported by a solid engineering background.

You will work on multi-market data center, healthcare, and high-rise projects, coordinating with design and field teams while leveraging Trimble, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam to ensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating mechanical trades (HVAC, piping, plumbing) for a major GC or mechanical subcontractor.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical equipment, piping/ductwork takeoffs, labor cost estimation, drawing analysis, and site MEP assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accurate preparation of commercial mechanical proposals (HVAC, piping, plumbing).
• Perform takeoffs, cost estimations, and drawing analyses for multi-market projects.
• Collaborate with Estimating Leadership and operations to ensure competitive, accurate bids.
