Generac is seeking an Engineering Technician III to plan, implement, and evaluate advanced electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests for current and new product designs under supervision. The role supports continuous improvement, problem identification, containment, action plans, and ensures test requirements are met.
The candidate will perform tests, fabricate test equipment, develop bills of materials, document results, and mentor technicians.

The Engineering Technician III is responsible for the planning, implementation, and performance of advanced electrical, mechanical, audio, and environmental tests of current and new product designs under general supervision. Facilitates continuous improvement activities to reduce the potential for product defects. Partners with Engineering and is involved with problem identification, containment activities, action plan creation and execution. Ensures that the test requirements for product testing and processes are defined and met.
Shift Schedule is Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-11:00pm and Friday 1:00am-3:30pm.
