Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technology Co‑op for Fall 2027. You will work with a mentor on goals, gain hands‑on experience in dimensional controls, metrology, and model‑based definition while contributing to challenging projects.

You’ll learn via 3D scanning, GD&T basics, and modeling and participate in development sessions and community activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• May 2028 or later graduation date.
• Cumulative GPA ≥3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required.
• We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future, for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunity.
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in Dimensional Controls & Metrology, Modeling and Simulation.
• Hands on learning in 3D Scanning; Polyworks analysis; intro to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T); model-based definition.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional enhancement.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
