Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites students to join the Mechanical Engineering Technology Co-op for Fall 2027 in Louisville, KY. The program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured goals across Dimensional Controls, Metrology, and Modeling & Simulation.

You will work with a mentor to define deliverables and growth targets during the rotation. Participants gain exposure to 3D scanning, GD&T basics, and model-based definition while attending training sessions and networking

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor to achieve goals supporting the business and learning opportunities.
• Complete innovative technical assignments in Dimensional Controls, Metrology, Modeling and Simulation.
• Gain hands-on experience in 3D Scanning, Polyworks analysis, and GD&T basics.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional growth.
• Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Engage in optional events (lunches, weekend activities, sports, cookouts).
