Job summary

Indiana Tech seeks a full-time faculty member in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Smart Manufacturing to join the Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in a related field, with preferred hands-on lab experience and strong collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in engineering education or workforce training is encouraged.
• Demonstrated interdisciplinary collaboration across mechanics, design, manufacturing, automation or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update academic programs and curricula across mechanical engineering and related disciplines.
• Advise and mentor students; support recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and participate in ABET assessment and accreditation processes.
• Maintain academic records to support accreditation activities and utilize instructional technologies.

Education
