The Manager, Mechanical Engineering provides senior-level mechanical engineering expertise for MPS's offsite manufacturing and modular power solutions. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems that support scalable modular MPS's offsite manufacturing model and delivery. This role partners closely with electrical and structural engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure designs are technically sound, manufacturable, scalable, code-compliant, and aligned with customer requirements. As MPS continues to grow, this individual will also be expected to build, lead, and manage a team of engineers by providing technical direction, mentoring talent, establishing engineering technical standards, mentoring talent, prioritizing work, and creating scalable processes that support engineering excellence, operational execution, and long-term business growth.
Work is performed in a hybrid environment, combining office settings with regular visits to manufacturing facilities, production operations, project sites, customer locations, and business operations. MPS is redefining how complex power infrastructure is designed, manufactured, and delivered.
