Rio Tinto Kennecott in Salt Lake City, Utah is offering a 3-month Mechanical Engineering internship to develop hands-on skills in a world-class mining operation. You will join an open, international team of technical specialists working on conveyors, mills, pumps and related systems.

As a student, you must have at least one year of study in Mechanical Engineering, strong teamwork and communication, the right to work in the United States, and a valid driver's license.

• At least one year completed in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Involved in troubleshooting, maintenance and overall management of mechanical assets and systems such as conveyors, grinding mills, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics, tanks, pressure vessels and piping.
