Hermeus invites motivated engineering students to join the Mechanical Team in Los Angeles for an internship focusing on structural design, hydraulics, and propulsion systems within our cutting-edge aircraft program.

Selected interns will engage in hands-on development, perform analyses, and participate in cross-functional reviews. This 16–12 week program runs across winter and summer sessions with opportunities to present findings and contribute to real hardware.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Mechanical, Aerospace, Thermal Fluids, Structural or similar Engineering degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Structural design supporting vehicle subsystems such as hydraulics, fuel systems, propulsion, and avionics.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses using hand calculations and FEA.
• Lead trade studies across mechanical, fluid, and avionics subsystems with emphasis on mass, cost and performance.
• Own hardware development from concept through design, fabrication, integration and test.
