Job summary

Valero is offering an internship opportunity for Mechanical Engineering students in the United States. The program focuses on reliability and project engineering, with hands-on experience at multiple refinery locations including Houston.

Interns will troubleshoot equipment issues, analyze performance, and assist in developing project scopes for capital and maintenance work. Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, maintain at least a 3.2 GPA, and be available

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, required.
• Overall GPA of 3.2 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale, preferred.
• Graduation dates of August 2027 through May 2029, required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
