Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite internship/co-op in McKinney, TX for mechanical or aerospace engineering students who are actively enrolled and have at least 60 credits completed. You will support concept development, design, prototyping, and testing under a team lead.

You will gain hands-on experience, work with Creo CAD and GD&T, and have opportunities to document and present your work within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support concept development and prototyping, detailed design and analysis.
• Work under a team lead to understand technical, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Collaborate with engineers from across disciplines to achieve program goals.
• Document and present work with guidance from Raytheon's engineering network.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities may include support for concept development and prototyping, detailed design and analysis, supplier support, build support, and test support.

• You will work under the guidance of a team lead to understand the technical, schedule, and budget expectations for your tasking.
• You will work alongside other engineers from across all engineering disciplines to collectively achieve success for your program and customer.
• You will receive skill-development training and technical support from Raytheon's network of engineering experts.
• You will have opportunities to document and present your work.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
