V2X is seeking a 2027 Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Indianapolis, IN team. Enrolled students pursuing a technical degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering will contribute to designing, modeling, and documenting mechanical concepts under supervision.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing basic support developing and documenting mechanical designs, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies
• Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team
• Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
• Following established Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Positive attitude and proven leadership skills.

• Basic fundamentals of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or related course work.

Desired Skills:

Education Requirements:

• Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursing a technical degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Systems) or a closely related STEM field.
• Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post graduate status as of Spring 2027. The level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, including degree credits earned
