Core States Group in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to work with experienced engineers on HVAC and plumbing projects.

During the 11-week program, you will assist with design calculations, equipment selection, reviews, site visits, and coordination, gaining hands-on exposure to industry tools like Revit and AutoCAD.

This onsite internship offers mentorship, networking opportunities, and a path to develop practical skills in a dynamic AEC environment.

• Enrolled as a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experience mechanical engineers and project teams on HVAC and plumbing system design projects. Throughout this 11-week internship program, you will:

• Assist with HVAC and plumbing design calculations
• Support equipment selection and system layouts
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings
• Review construction documents and shop drawings
• Attend site visits and observe construction progress
• Learn about sustainable and energy-efficient building system design

Software & Technical Skills You’ll Learn

Interns will gain hands‑on experience using industry‑standard mechanical engineering software and tools, including:
