Job summary

Burns & McDonnell Internship program seeks motivated engineering students to support design and project teams. Interns apply standard engineering methods, assist lead engineers, and help update designs across markets such as Global Facilities and Power.

Strong communication, problem solving, and readiness to learn are required. Eligible students must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with solid coursework and a minimum GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and involvement in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead engineers with project duties and design updates.
• Apply standard engineering techniques to designs and analyses.
• Support various market segments (Global Facilities, Power).
