Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with at least one year completed and strong communication skills. Interviews occur at the Atlanta office on a defined schedule, with on-site work required.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 1 year of study completed.
• Graduates pursuing a Master’s degree may apply if still enrolled in the same or similar program.

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Atlanta, GA November 5th and 6th. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.

The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm,where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Friday, interviews will take place at our Atlanta office.This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to be based in Atlanta, GA.

This position is expected to begin Spring/Summer 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
• Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings.
• Coordinate with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience utilizing industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar.
• Previous relevant internship experience is a plus.
