The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm,where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Friday, interviews will take place at our Atlanta office.This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to be based in Atlanta, GA.

This position is expected to begin Spring/Summer 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
• Perform routine tasks under supervision.
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
