Job summary

The Toro Company invites applications for its 2027 Summer Internship Program running May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027. The internship is based in Bloomington, IN, and offers hands-on experience with engineering teams developing turf maintenance equipment.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship. A BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with a 3.2 GPA or higher, and experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo and MS Office, are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering BS required.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher; sophomore/junior year completion.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo).
• Clear verbal and written communication; cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues to reduce product warranty.
• Identify root causes and document findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support lab and field testing with the test department.
• Analyze data and document results.
• Create documentation for lessons learned library.
