Job summary

Arconic invites a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join the Lancaster, PA team for a paid, full-time summer assignment. The intern will work on real projects, mentored by a manager and a mentor, and present outcomes in a location-wide competition.

The program runs for a minimum of 12 weeks, from mid-May to mid-August, at the Lancaster, PA site, and is a safety-sensitive position designed to foster professional growth and exposure to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Active involvement in at least one extracurricular activity.

Responsibilities

• Support Mechanical Engineers with current projects and initiatives.
• Attend all meetings with the Mechanical Engineering mentor.
• Participate in designated projects and day-to-day mechanical work at the Lancaster, PA facility.
