Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. in Cambria, WI is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in optimizing mechanical processes within our dry corn mill. This hands-on internship offers exposure to capital projects and manufacturing operations.

You will assist design, analysis, testing, data collection, and documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering; strong analytical, communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship or hands-on experience in manufacturing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical processes to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct tests and collect data to support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports communicating findings and recommendations.
• Assist with planning and execution of major capital projects, including equipment installations and facility upgrades.
