Ohio Transmission Corporation's OTC Industrial Technologies' DIRECTAIR team offers a hands-on engineering internship where you work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects.

You will gain exposure to compressed air systems, product design, manufacturing, and quality processes while building practical engineering skills and contributing to solutions for industrial customers across North America. This program runs late May through early August and provides competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant engineering degree.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and administrative support to the Engineering and Quality teams.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and assist with troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Review and create bills of materials (BOMs), scopes of work, and other engineering documentation.
• Review product specifications and help establish internal equipment standards.
• Revise and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Assist with the design, fabrication, and installation of compressor systems, fixtures, tooling, and related equipment.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams and customers.
• Support the development and maintenance of the SolidWorks PDM database and SolidWorks Toolbox.
• Help create and maintain engineering standards, processes, and documentation.
• Assist in building and organizing an intelligent parts database within SolidWorks.
• Participate in quality audits of manufacturing operations and decommissioned modules.
• Collaborate with electrical, application, and mechanical engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
