Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies invites engineering students to join the DIRECTAIR team for a hands-on internship. You will work with experienced engineers on real-world projects, gaining exposure to compressed air systems, product design, manufacturing, and quality processes across North America.

You will develop practical engineering skills while supporting engineering and quality teams, interpreting schematics, reviewing BOMs, and assisting with CAD-led design, fabrication, and documentation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related engineering degree.
• Familiar with 2D/3D CAD software including SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/administrative support to Engineering and Quality teams.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical blueprints and assist troubleshooting.
• Review BOMs, scopes of work, and other engineering docs.
• Revise electrical schematics using CAD tools.
• Assist in design, fabrication, and installation of compressor systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams and customers.
• Support SolidWorks PDM database and toolbox maintenance.
• Help build and organize an intelligent parts database in SolidWorks.
• Contribute to engineering standards, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate across electrical, application, and mechanical teams.
