  • District energy system design using building energy modeling and energy system efficiency optimization programming
  • Deliverable development tasks like Computer Aided Drafting and Building Information Modeling, parts and equipment scheduling, Process Flow Diagramming, and report development

Mechancial Engineering Interns typically perform engineering tasks such as:

  • Piping, ducting, and equipment sizing
  • Stress analysis
  • Life cycle cost analysis

Mechanical Engineering Interns will be provided opportunities to either experience a broader array of engineering projects to explore different interests or to focus work on a specific project to develop mastery of skills and subject matter expertise. The team will meet with the intern regularly to discuss early career goals and development and ensure a gratifying internship experience. Interns are provided with experiences intended to maximize your summer internship experience including training, site visits, and social engagements with other interns and new engineers.
