Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects.

Join a dynamic team working on modernization, upgrades, and documentation for material handling systems, with opportunities to develop CAD skills and collaborate with estimators, sales, and field operations. This role provides hands-on experience, career development, and exposure to global opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems.
• Familiar with CAD design software including AutoCAD.
• Familiarization with computer systems and technologies.
• Ability to solve complex design issues and implement cost-efficient solutions; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization and upgrades on existing material handling systems.
• Perform site audits to collect required data.
• Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.
• Provide detailed layouts and documentation for modernization scopes.
• Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry.
• Drive activities to ensure new equipment is built to specification.
• Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $29.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
