Job summary

The Marvin Group in Inglewood, CA offers a summer internship in mechanical, manufacturing and tooling engineering. You will work with engineers to contribute to innovations in rail launchers, bomb racks, and ground vehicles.

You will apply MEC tools such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks and PDM, assist with drawings and documentation, and collaborate across functions. Open to ME students at any level with fundamentals in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must be a ME student (sophomore to postgraduate) by summer start.
• Fundamentals of manufacturing, structures and materials.
• CAD modeling, drafting and release experience.

Responsibilities

• Training and application of MEC tools including CATIA V5, SolidWorks and PDM
• Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS Office suite
• Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice/Order and Drawing Release
• Collaboration with coworkers and diverse teams
• Training on MEC processes and procedures
