Position Overview

Gain hands‑on engineering experience by working on real mechanical design, prototyping, and production projects in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design detector housings, fixtures, and tooling using CAD
  • Support GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drafting
  • Assist with prototyping through 3D printing and machining
  • Prepare drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drafting
  • Strong hands‑on problem‑solving skills
  • Clear communication and documentation abilities
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (strong project portfolios may be considered)
Preferred Skills
  • FEA or thermal analysis exposure
  • Manufacturing or robotics project experience
