Cushing Terrell is offering a Mechanical Engineering Intern position in Boise, Idaho. This in‑person internship supports our Mechanical Engineering team on real client projects, with hands-on calculations and design work in Revit and AutoCAD.
You will gain exposure to the IMC, UPC, and ASHRAE standards, participate in site visits, and learn how to collaborate across disciplines while contributing to project documentation and specifications.

What does this role involve day to day? You will gain hands‑on experience performing engineering calculations and designing mechanical systems, including building heating and cooling load calculations.
What will I create? You will help model mechanical and plumbing systems in Revit and AutoCAD, schedule mechanical equipment, and compile project specifications.
What does success look like in this internship? You will review building codes and standards, including IMC, UPC, and ASHRAE, participate in site visits before and during construction, and leave with a clear picture of what it means to work in the AEC industry.
The expected wage range for this position is $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.

*Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate's years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
