The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND is inviting applications for a full-time Mechanical Engineering faculty position. This role combines teaching and course/lab development with strong industry relationships and service on university committees.

The successful candidate will integrate liberal arts values into engineering education and contribute to the Benedictine mission in the Hamm School of Engineering.

Qualificações

• Requires a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ph.D. is preferred and ability to mentor students is important.
• Experience with Linux and C programming; familiarity with LaTeX.
• Commitment to teaching, collaboration and service on committees.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and develop mechanical engineering courses and laboratories.
• Build strong industry relationships and participate in committees.
• Contribute to ethical, leadership and liberal arts integration in courses.
