Job summary

AMETEK, Inc.'s Bison business unit in Kent, Ohio offers engineering students a hands-on co-op to work on motors, blowers, pumps, and drives. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and small teams to tackle real projects, gaining valuable career experience tailored to business needs.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited university.
Sophomore or higher-level standing.
GPA 3.0 or higher.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email for communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read assembly prints for motor/gear motor assembly.
Knowledge or interest in embedded systems programming or PCB design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, test, document, and validate new components and products with guidance from experienced engineers.
Build, document, and validate electro-mechanical performance of motors, gearmotors, blowers, drives, software, and circuitry.
Conduct tests, analyze data, and present findings and recommendations.
Create and support the development of technical documentation.
