Job summary

Hyperion Solutions in Memphis, TN seeks a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to gain hands-on product development experience in a growing company. You will work closely with experienced engineers and receive mentorship from product engineers and the engineering director, contributing to ECOs, drawings, manuals, and assemblies.

You will apply 3D design skills, perform structural analyses, and help improve engineering, sales, and production processes while ensuring safety and timely attendance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D design software; Solidworks preferred.
• Regular and prompt attendance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Create or update assembly drawings for elevator machines.
• Update product manuals for customers.
• Structural analysis of elevator machines and mounting assemblies.
• Application logic for machines and components.
• Implement new machine assemblies as specified.
• Develop and document improved work processes.
