GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites motivated students to join the Spring 2027 Mechanical Engineering Co-op in Louisville, KY. You will collaborate with a mentor, tackle assignments across New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, and Simulation, and gain hands-on experience while supporting the business goals.

The program runs Jan 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027, with housing/relocation assistance for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals supporting the business.
• Complete technical assignments in areas like New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, or FirstBuild.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge.
• Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events include team lunches, weekend activities, and cookouts.
